Systems for accounting firms
From February to April, an accounting firm does a large share of its year in three months. New clients call at the worst moment, and gathering documents eats every evening.
New clients during tax season
During the rush, nobody has time to call back. The missed call gets a text asking for the type of return: individual, self-employed, corporation. The files you want are called back first.
Last year’s clients
Every year some loyal clients do not come back, simply because nobody wrote to them. In January, clients served last year or the year before receive a reactivation message to book before the rush.
The rest of the year
Bookkeeping, sales tax returns and tax planning sell outside the season. Campaigns to existing clients go out in summer, when you have time to serve them.
I am not in your profession, and that is fine
I will not pretend to know your field better than you do. What I know is the mechanics that break the same way everywhere: the call nobody answers, the follow-up that never happens, the appointment that slips. I fixed them in my own business.
